Professional Organisers (also known as Declutter Coaches or Decluttering and Organising Experts) help people declutter and organise their homes, reduce items they no longer need, implement storage solutions; to improve day-to-day efficiency and ease of use. It is a privilege to come alongside people to help them create safe, comfortable, functional and welcoming homes.

My Head Heart and Home Decluttering Course has been completed by every Professional Organiser I’ve ever trained as well as many others around the world pursuing a career as a Professional Organiser. Undertake Decluttering - Nationally Accredited Course

This nationally accredited online course is 3 months in duration that can be started anytime. It is designed to enable you to work as a Professional Organiser specialising in decluttering. The course covers trauma-informed care and strategies to communicate with clients with complex needs such as disabilities, mental health and neurodiversity issues. It covers client screening and self care, and the risks and strategies to deal with hazards in the home such as manual handling issues, allergens, lead, and mould contaminated content. The five stages of decluttering (rubbish, rehome, return, repurpose, remain) will be described and demonstrated.

The course materials are engaging and include pre-recorded presentations and videos of real case scenarios from highly experienced professional organisers, mental health nurse, counsellor and building biologist.

The course is suitable for consultants and/or individuals who are looking for a rewarding career change.

Lifting of the mental load
